strange
The word "bloggernacle" is a word I don't comprehend.
I know Dan has thrown around the term before, but I'm not sure I knew what it was then. Seems to be mormons writing about being mormons... or mormons writing nothing about mormons. Kind of interesting.
I think I'll have to just bookmark these two links so I can check back in on them later when I have more time.

Number 1 seems to be a collection of them, Number 2 was one that was linked to from Dan's site. And I haven't had time to read it yet. But I'll get there.
So this is really just a 'get back to this at some point in time' post.

Bloggernacle is a word game that refers to the Salt Lake Tabernacle, a historic conference building on Temple Square. The Bloggernacle or 'nacle is mostly populated by posters who try to be rational and faithful Mormons.
By contrast, Main Street Plaza is a DAMU institution. DAMU stands for dis-affected Mormon underground, which consists of post-Mormons, ex-Mormons, and Mormon dissidents.

There is a wikipedia entry for Bloggernacle that might be somewhat helpful.
To get a variety of tastes from this group you might want to check out:
Times and Seasons
By Common Consent
Mormon Mentality
Nine Moons
Feminist Mormon Housewives
Snarkernacle
Kulturblog
Mormanity
Mormon Mommy Wars
Strange Pulse
I am thinking you'd like Susan Malmrose's Strange Pulse blog. Part of it's tag-line: "A Mormon housewive into doom metal."
Also, you might want to read Heather Oman's posts over at "Mormon Mommy Wars." Her writing reminds me a bit of the Dooce, except without the profanity and occasional LDS-bashing. Finally, Kulturblog is a blog that deals with popular culture, television, music, movies, etc. You won't see Mormons mentioned on the site but most (if not all) of the writers are Mormons.
